Giovanni Tula was awarded a degree in Engineering by the Politecnico di Milano in 1997.
He began his career worked as a project engineer, construction supervisor and proposals manager for Foster Wheeler. In 2002, he joined Alcoa and began managing international teams, projects and programmes, becoming familiar with various HSE management models, systems and cultures.
After a spell with Tenaris, he joined the Enel Group in 2010 as Head of Environment in the International Division before being appointed Head of HSE in the same division.
In 2014, Giovanni became Head of Enel Green Power’s HSEQ (Health, Environment, Safety and Quality) department, before taking on the post of Head of Innovation and Sustainability in the same company.
A keen scuba diver, he loves exploring the world’s seas and learning about different cultures. That said, he loves spending time with friends and family because, as he puts it, “happiness is only real when it is shared.”
