“The opportunities and challenges for e-mobility”. This is the title of the boot camp on electric mobility promoted on May 16 and 17 by the Tel Aviv Enel Innovation Hub in Israel.
Held at the premises of SOSA, the Innovation Platform that collaborates with our Open Innovation project, the event offered 16 startups the chance to present, by using the pitch formula, innovative solutions and technologies to boost all the different aspects of electric and sustainable mobility.
In the afternoon of the 16th, the Managing Director of our Tel Aviv Innovation Hub Eran Levy organised a networking event jointly with SOSA to promote an open debate between startuppers and Enel managers on the future of electric transport, starting from the vision and development strategies regarding new technologies promoted by our Group.
The event was attended not only by Levy, who also gave an overview of Enel’s scouting activities in Israel, but also by Giovanni Coppola, Program Manager of the Network Technologies Unit and Innovation of Enel’s Infrastructure and Network Business Network, who focussed on the possibility of enhancing and monetising electric vehicle battery systems by integrating them into distribution networks.
Remaining within the field of sustainable mobility and electric transportation, Israel is also presently hosting the EcoMotion Event 2017. The initiative is promoted by EcoMotion, a platform established through a partnership between the Israel Innovation Institute and The Fuel Choices Initiative (Prime Minister Office and Ministry of Economy) and the Israeli Automotive and High-Tech Industry, established to foster knowledge sharing, networking and collaboration for the Smart Transportation sector. The aim is to promote innovative and green transport solutions, reduce pollution and improve people’s lives, starting from the adoption of digital mobility solutions.
