Enel Open Innovation at Rome Startup Week

For one week Rome is set to become the caput mundi for innovation. From today, 8th May, until Sunday 14th the Italian capital is hosting the first edition of Rome Startup Week, seven days dedicated to the ecosystem of innovation in the city and beyond, an appointment that Enel just could not miss.

On the 8th May, the opening day of the event, manager of Innovation and Sustainability at Enel, Ernesto Ciorra, is one of the keynote speakers at the Italian Open Innovation Summit, a round table dedicated to learning from the success stories and experiences of leading Italian companies, starting at 3pm in the Aula Magna of the Ex Mattatoio venue.

The week will include over 20 events leading up to Sunday 14th May, from in-depth seminars and debates involving institutions, businesses, startuppers, research bodies and universities, in order to take a look behind the scenes of the world of startups, with a focus on accelerators, policy, impacts on business and innovation, technology transfers, investment models and international connections.

Rome Startup Week is organized by the association Roma Startup (a network in the city that includes the main operators from the world of startups), sponsored by Google and Cisco and will take place in a number of different venues across the city: the lecture halls of Roma Tre University, the ex Mattatoio, the Fiera di Roma exhibition centre, the spaces of Luiss Enlabs at Termini station, Bic Lazio on Via Casilina, John Cabot University, the Hotel Savoy and Palazzo Barberini.
